As the Manager (f/m/d) of the Automation Reliability Engineering & DevOps team, you will lead a team within the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Productization organization, dedicated on the implementation and execution of a structured approach of increasing the automation reliability and establishing DevOps methodology.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for setting goals, managing the team’s operations, as well as guiding and developing the team and its individuals. We are looking for an exceptionally talented and highly motivated colleague with an open mindset and elevated empathy.

Lead, guide, and develop a team of engineers to work as a high-performing team

Align strategic direction and objectives, and set the goals for the team

Manage relationships between different stakeholder groups (internal and external)

Effective resource planning to meet the demands and needs of our customers

Build out an automation development and DevOps team

Manage cross-functional projects

What you bring

Around 10 years of experience in IT industry

Leadership skills focusing on people development, team culture, managing performance, and collaboration

Proven track record of project and program management

Experience in automation development (e.g. Ansible)

Sound understanding of one or all the disciplines (DevOps, Reliability Engineering, Chaos Engineering) is a must

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Expertise on SAP technologies and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Good understanding of operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment
