Summary
SAP Ariba is the world’s business commerce network. The SAP Ariba Cloud Platform provides a feature-rich, high performance, scalable, rock-solid (99.99% uptime) Distributed Computing Platform via SAP Ariba Cloud to allow rapid innovation of applications thereby addressing our customers mission-critical business needs. We are looking for experienced Architects to drive the design, architecture, and implementation of next generation functionality of Ariba’s Open Platform Strategy
The Role
You will be working in a cross-functional team of talented, supportive and motivated colleagues; following agile methodologies and industry best practices. You will be applying the latest technology and business trends in cloud to build next generation platform framework/services.

• Design, program and test product features by following agile development practices.
• Demonstrate excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles
• Consult stakeholders and customers as domain expert
• Support DevOps related tasks including delivery, operations and support of the cloud service
• Drive improvements and innovations in development processes
• Apply latest cutting-edge cloud technologies

Role Requirements

• Bachelors in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 4-7 years of development experience developing production grade software
• Excellent programming know-how in JAVA/JEE/JavaScript/SCALA/Any Functional Programming language with sound knowledge in Programming Principles, Design Patterns, Software Architecture
• Exposure to Microservices based applications, Spring boot
• Strong grasp on relational database system such as SAP HANA
• Exposure to security aspects in microservices.
• Proven architecture and integration experience with Cloud technologies
• Strong in analytical thinking/problem solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
