SUMMARY

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is on a tremendous growth path. To prepare for the future growth journey we are searching a motivated colleague taking over responsibility as IT Procedure Owner driving standardization and automation in the center of a high-scale cloud environment. You will interface with a highly professional, global team of experts and architects from various teams inside ECS Delivery and the development organization. With standardization and automation, our team is enabling ECS Delivery operational units to delight our customers and deliver reliable services!
With your Cloud operations background in combination with SAP basis technology experience you will be a great addition to our team to actively drive standardization and automation projects. THE ROLE

In your role as IT Procedure Owner for cross-product lifecycle management activities you are ensuring the definition of automated, reliable, and scalable Operations standards. In a first step you will ramp-up into SAP ECS most frequently used services guided by an experienced colleague until you take over ownership of one or multiple services/IT procedures and standardizing and automating it in close collaboration between Operations and Development. This will contribute to increasing operational efficiency by lowering manual efforts and fast service deliver to our customers. Following activities will be part of your role:
Own and optimize cross-product lifecycle management procedures based on operational feedbackStructure and coordinate the activities in the ownership of your procedure incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverablesPerform root cause analysis in IT procedure execution utilizing the expert network and analytic capabilitiesManage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS DeliveryCreate and align test plans, support, and perform testing/validation and roll-out activitiesSupport technology-related projects in complex environment
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
4-8 years of total experienceFundamental know-how in SAP Technology and Cloud operationsHands-on Experience in SAP NetWeaver/Basis administrationWorking experience in UNIX/Linux (SUSE/RHEL)Experience or exposure to SAP HANA or other Database technologiesIdeally familiar with trending technologies and tools in the SAP environmentSound analytical and problem-solving skillsQuick learner, self-starter and motivated to dig into new technologies and topicsFluent in spoken and written English
