Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:
1. Development of Energy Management Systems (EMS) platform 2. Execution of Product roadmap and strategic planning 3. Engagement with Global customers and latest technologies 4. Supporting the product deployment and customer engagement
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from concept to proto validation and commercial deployment 2. Software architecture & respective system design, embedded software code development as per applicable standards / version control, test / validation & debugging, integrated system testing-validation 3. Cross functional team working, analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources 4. Knowledge of software code standards and test standards 5. Support software QA and optimize the code to meet Input/Output (product / system) performance 6. Provide post-production support, RCA (root cause analysis) and necessary solution 7. Interface with hardware design and integrated system testing 8. Assess third party and open-source software 9. Hands on working experience RTOS platform 10. Experienced with DSP, ARM based processor 11. Embedded software for communication protocols and interface of same with remote control & monitoring platforms
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded software for Battery Energy Storage System or Power Quality or UPS or VFD 2. Solid programming experience in C or C++ 3. Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems 4. Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review 5. Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems 6. Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for microcontrollers/DSP/ARM processors, components 7. Strong documentation and writing skills
ESSENTIAL Expertise in the power electronics and know-how of grid management and communications systems
DESIRABLE Knowledge in the area of Energy Storage Systems
