Purpose of Job
Provide expert clerical services to a department as part of an integrated administrative and office support function.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Ensure that self and team meet targets, due dates, and quality standards. • Develops and give inputs to systems and processes that enable effective and efficient administrative operations. • Meet individual and contribute to team targets. • Complete all tasks in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of financial planning and control principles. • Use, control and maintain all BU (Business Unit) and Sasol equipment, time, infrastructure, and other resources efficiently and effectively (cost and time). • Promote and achieve SHER (Safety, Health, and Environmental Risk) targets consistently and with dedication. • Meet all BU (Business Unit) and Sasol safety and risk objectives and behave in a manner that ensures a safe risk-free work environment. • Ensure all clerical tasks are planned, controlled, and reported as per the BU and Sasol requirements. • Solve problems and make decision. • Identify potential challenges in the BU (Business Unit) wok environment and take decisions that minimise/limit potentially negative implications for the BU (Business Unit) and Sasol, take required action timeously. • Take ownership for personal improvement and skills development. • Set and work towards own performance targets and goals as per personal performance agreement. • Ensure that personal development plan is completed, implemented, and tracked. • Update performance goals and performance agreement regularly. • Agree and review personal performance goals and the achievement thereof. • Apply the learning experience at the workplace. • Review compliance and follow up against the standards and objectives. • Adheres to standard procedures and practices with guidance. • Resolve work obstacles and issues positively and quickly. • Learn to use problem solving and decision-making methodology. • Build good professional relationships with customers, managers, and peers to understand their needs. • Develop healthy and constructive communication with team, colleagues, and management. • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers and peers. • Improve present way of doing work by continuously asking questions. • Share and implement new ideas regarding work. • Improve personal work processes. o Coordinate the condensate loading bay, o Do Inventory management (product availability from the storage) o Do Product certification (lab results), o Manage the interfaces with security for access control o Manage the interfaces with operations (Offloading tanks and loading bay changeover) o Manage the Interface with condensate tankers inspection services.
