The opportunity

As a part of the Government Engagement (GE) team, you will play a key role working with the various Business Units at Sattva supporting them towards their respective GE goals and act as the organization’s spearhead in other partnerships with the government. The team will engage with stakeholders from district, state and central government as well as government bodies like the NITI Aayog, state CSR cells, and industry associations. In parallel, the team will lead all internal functions of Sales, Thought Leadership, Hiring, Data, Learning and Development for the government ecosystem and prepare internal teams to engage and work effectively with the government. The team’s operations are largely entrepreneurial in nature and require a high degree of innovation and agile decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to grow along with the GE team by getting involved at the strategy level and fostering high-value partnerships.

In addition, the following will be the key responsibilities:

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders including senior government officials to explore avenues of collaboration
• Collaborate to design strategy with the GE team for identifying potential products and service areas for direct engagement with governments
• Plan and execute organisational Learning & Development (L&D) on GE by developing collaterals at the org level, coordinating logistics on expert-led sessions, etc.
• Support business development for government projects including thorough verification of potential opportunities, research and analysis, proposal writing, internal coordination, etc.
• Represent Sattva in various engagements with the government and actively manage relationships with external stakeholders

Key qualifications and experiences:

Essential:

• At least three years of professional experience in a role involving stakeholder and project management, preferably with the government
• Passionate towards engaging with governments for a larger systemic impact
• Strong problem solving, secondary research and data analysis skills, with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and strong interest in the impact sector
• A broad understanding of the government’s structures and bodies
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and develop innovative solutions to grow Sattva’s presence and business in the government ecosystem

Desirable:

• Experience in engaging with government stakeholders through past projects
• Track record of effectively enabling and maintaining government relationships
• Experience in writing RFPs and sales proposals

Salary: ₹1,000,000.00 – ₹1,200,000.00 per year
