Job Overview

As our GM-Messaging Infrastructure, you will find the best carriers for routing our customer’s

SMS/Whatsapp traffic, to meet the expected criteria of cost, delivery, and quality of service.

You will work out win-win deals and relationships with CpaaS providers and partners. You

will bring innovation to our products by adding new message channels and capabilities. You

will provide business requirements to technical teams for building/scaling the Messaging

Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include negotiating rates, delivery and service with carriers for

our messaging traffic. You will build relationships with key messaging carriers and apps/App

providers like Whatsapp, Apple, Google etc. You will provide key insights and market news

to Product & Marketing teams. You will work with the Marketing department to create

Customer knowledge & awareness campaigns. You will create Business Requirement

Documents and Product Requirement Documents for new Messaging features and

capabilities.

We expect you to be an excellent communicator, team player, and collaborator with great

relationship-building skills. Goes without saying that you will be customer-focused and driven

by technology & data, and have exceptional analytical skills.

To know & understand the Messaging landscape at the back of your hand

Used to business development/interconnect deals with CpaaS/Telecom companies

Brings Network of CpaaS and messaging providers

Negotiator

Technical Skills:-

SMS Infrastructure – Technical and business knowledge

Messaging Insights and Analytics

Messaging Industry trends, Competition and future scenarios

Desired:

Product Background (build products in SMS, Messaging, CpaaS space)

Product Marketing

Prior experience in International business, working on interconnect deals with International

operators/cloud Telephony Companies or Carrier Relationships Management and / or

Product Management would be preferred

Your Key Results Areas will be:

New Features/Capabilities Introduced (vs Planned)

SMS and Messaging Coverage (Customer Requests Vs Delivered)

Budget Vs Actual – SMS Costs (Unit costs, Contribution and overall Margin)

Profit & Loss – Messaging business

Qualifications & skills:

Degree in Engineering or MBA or a related field

Relevant experience of 8+ years, overall experience of 14+ years

Reporting to: CEO

Job Location: Remote, with regular travel to Pune
