PGAGI Consultancy Pvt Ltd is looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in frontend development, project management, and performance optimization, with a strong background in SaaS product development, preferably in a product-based startup.

As an SDE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement best practices in front-end development.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in SaaS product development.

• Experience working in a product-based startup.

• Minimum 2 years of Experience in Front-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management & Development –
• Oversee project timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement scalable solutions.
• Frontend Development & Architecture –
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing frontend architectures.
• Ensure efficient component structuring and data flow in applications.
• Web Performance Optimization –
• Implement best practices such as code splitting, lazy loading, and image optimization to enhance performance.
• Optimize applications for fast load times and smooth user experience.
• State Management & Type Safety –
• Utilize state management libraries like Redux or MobX for handling complex application states.
• Leverage TypeScript for building robust and type-safe applications.
• Responsive Design & Accessibility –
• Develop responsive UIs using SCSS and Tailwind CSS to ensure cross-device compatibility.
• Ensure applications comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Testing & Debugging
• Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using industry-standard frameworks.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex frontend issues efficiently.
• Build Tools & Automation
• Work with Webpack, Parcel, Vite, or Gulp to streamline development workflows.
• Optimize build processes for better performance and scalability.
• Version Control & Collaboration
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, following best practices in collaborative workflows.
• Work effectively with team members and stakeholders to drive project success.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Advanced JavaScript Frameworks – Strong expertise in React and Next.js.
• State Management – Experience with Redux, MobX, or other state management libraries.
• TypeScript Expertise – Solid understanding of type safety and scalable application development.
• Frontend Design & CSS – Hands-on experience with SCSS and Tailwind CSS.
• Testing & Debugging – Familiarity with Jest, Cypress, or other testing frameworks.
• Build & Automation Tools – Knowledge of Webpack, Parcel, Vite, or similar.
• Accessibility – Adherence to WCAG standards for web accessibility.
