Short Description

Engineer / Lead Engineer-Hardware is responsible for design, maintenance, troubleshooting and evolution of existing and new hardware product variants under SEDEMAC’s various product lines. The candidate is expected to carry out detailed electronic circuit design, including simulation and design verification and validation.

:

• Carry out detailed electronic circuit design, including simulation and design verification testing of the new design.
• Select new parts, taking into consideration obsolescence, availability and cost. Also check alternative equivalent parts availability.
• Create designs which involve electronic control of the electrical and thermal performance of automotive and industrial systems.
• Consider applicable Electrical/ Environmental/ EMI EMC standards of testing and validation while designing new circuits.
• Prepare and present electronic designs to other members of the design team and project stakeholders at design reviews.
• Documentation of design work and prepares reports, ensuring design files and information are kept up to date and stored in accordance with company/ function procedures.
• Attend training as required, develop skills and knowledge keeping up to date with the latest technology.

Required experience and skills:

• Knowledge of Analogue ,Digital and communication circuit design including microprocessors/microcontrollers,
• Knowledge of SMPS design, DC-DC convertor, LDO
• Knowledge of Schematic capture, PCB and simulation using LT spice, Orcad, Pspice or similar.
• Knowledge of Power Electronics, thermal Design and BLDC motor Control
• Knowledge about quality tools like 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Why-Why analysis
• Understanding of part and product reliability
• RF Design (optional) applicable for RF projects only
• Application knowledge of Safety, EMI/ EMC standards
• Experience in managing a complete design cycle (specification, development, validation)
• Experience of high volume and cost sensitive product hardware design
• Hardware functional testing and testing equipment.
• Excellent documentation, reporting and communication skill

Qualification & Experience::

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering
• 3+ years experience of hardware design of Automotive/ Industrial Product
