Senior Frontend Developer

Come join the Process Optimization team and work in a talented group of engineers and
product managers that will create brand new core capabilities of the ServiceNow
platform. This team is responsible for analyzing and visualizing observed workflows and
discovering potential improvement opportunities of these workflows.
Role
Take part in our frontend team, tasked with building a whole new experience from the ground up.
What you get to do in this role:
Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
Work closely with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
Designing and implement software that is simple, intuitive and easy to use that will allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs
Play a key role in the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
Act as a mentor for colleagues and help drive knowledge-sharing
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
4+ years of experience designing and building scalable reusable products/components
Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
Deep knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 together with experience in designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript
Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
Working experience developing large-scale enterprise applications using React, npm and Webpack
Strong analytical and design skills
Experience with accessibility standards
Great understanding of REST or GraphQL APIs and asynchronous programming
Deep knowledge and previous usage of front-end test frameworks
Strong written and verbal communication

Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
