SGK Hiring for System Developer at Chennai Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate – Production Tech Support interfaces with customers via inbound calls or through the Internet depending upon client requirements. This position assists customers over the phone – uninstalling or reinstalling the software, clearing cookies, password reset, account maintenance and balance inquires.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clarifies customer requirements; probes for understanding, uses decision-support tools and resources to resolve customer issues that are non-standard/unstructured and require some clarification or conceptual thinking.
• Greets customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed upon procedures.
• Maintains broad knowledge of client products and/or services.
• Prepares complete and accurate work including appropriately notating accounts as required.
• Participates in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Tracks, documents and retrieves information in call tracking database.
• Additional duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
• 4+ years of previous tech support experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
• Ability to work overtime as necessary
