Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer role is an integral part of the development team’s overall process. As the QA Engineer, the successful candidate will assume primary responsibility for validating and verifying the quality of the Marketing Technology group’s software products and services for domestic and global customers, both internal and external. With the guidance of the Senior Enterprise Architect and Program Manager, he/she will also share with Project Managers and Lead Developers significant ongoing responsibility for continuous process improvements leading to increased overall team success.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and own quality strategy and practice of the development team to ensure the right level of product quality

2. Ensure an appropriate level of testing activities both automated and manual are performed

3. Define and implement necessary test automation for smoke, functional, integration and regression testing

4. Monitor and ensure each change achieves its business KPI on production

5. Drive the velocity of reliable product development together with the development team

6. Direct and supervise the work of junior QA engineers

7. Use of Selenium automated test tool to create automated tests using C#

8. Help expand the QA Automation presence in the project

9. Liaise with project managers, development leads and developers to ensure the proper level of communication in the team with regard to quality assurance process and success

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance engineering best practices

2. Thorough working knowledge of multiple types of testing and demonstrated ability to prioritize and select an appropriate target coverage for each

3. Ability to work on legacy and green fields projects simultaneously

4. Ability to work in multiple technology stacks simultaneously

5. Ability to identify and escalate issues in a timely manner

6. Ability to work with minimal supervision and commit to the team’s schedules and goals

7. Excellent business and technical communication skills

8. Good analytical and problem-solving skills

9. Ability to effectively document and communicate complex technical topics

Experience/Requirements

1. BS Computer Science or related industry experience required

2. Minimum 4 years of experience in QA

3. Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar tooling

4. Experience Vue.JS, Azure Function Apps, and MEAN stack applications

5. Experience working with secure HIPAA/HITECH and GDPR compliant software a plus

6. Experience in designing and implementing test automation using Selenium

7. Experience in Agile Methodologies including Kanban

8. Experience working with development teams using a continuous deployment strategy to service multiple concurrent product editions

9. Experience testing a global service platform, including multiple product editions (feature sets) and the need to verify i18n l10n requirements

• 01:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST | Monday to Friday
