Role: Merchandiser
Location: Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru (Work from office)
Experience: 2-8 Years
Qualification: B.Tech OR Bachelors Degree in Textile/Fashion/Apparel
**Must have experience in Knitwear merchandising
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, patterns and documentation.
- Knowledge of garment parameters
- Understand the common requirements of buyers.
- Knowledge of common production problems
- Product Development OR Bulk
Role and responsibilities:
- Ability to generate cost sheet by obtaining fabric/trim costs
- Ensures all materials/approvals are in place prior to the PCD
- Ensures and checks that correct quality is maintained at the sampling stage / bulk stages.
- The quality of fabric/trims needs to be monitored
- Effectively follows up the target with the concerned department and maintains cordial relationships with all the other departments in the organization
- Maintains cordial relationships and effectively communicates with the buying agent/buyer
- Clarify all details with buyers with regard to their requirements.
