Job Description:
Prepare timely and accurate statutory financial statements in accordance with Ind AS
Manage the statutory audit process from start to finish and ensure that the statutory audit is completed efficiently and effectively
Ensure regulatory filing deadlines are met
Prepare technical papers on issues that warrant complex accounting
Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders
Act as a single point of contact for all statutory related technical queries for SIMPL
Contribute to team effort and assist colleagues as needed to balance workloads
Identify inefficiencies with a view to developing and implementing more robust processes within the statutory reporting process

Requirements:
Education and experience:
A Chartered Accountant or CPA with a minimum of 3-6 years of Post Qualification experience in Accounting or other relevant Finance discipline (preferably Accounting)
Experience in preparation/audit of financial statements
Experience in auditing or dealing with external auditors
Skills:
Technical:
Excellent knowledge in practical application of accounting and auditing standards
Understanding of corporate structure and governance processes.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications especially Excel.
Familiarity of GSAP will be an added advantage.
Experienced in working in a virtual environment.
General:
Ability to work independently, to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
High level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Open to challenging projects outside areas of experience or comfort zone.
Able to work in a team or lead a team
