The Role

This role will provide an opportunity to work on the latest technology and innovations in Shell as part of the Projects & Technology Services organization (PTSOM) in IT Services and Operations (ITSO). The purpose of PTSOM is to operate the Projects & Technology Landscapes by delivering differentiating IT capabilities (products & services), thus supporting technology development, application and deployment as a major competitive advantage for Shell. The “Landscape” element emphasizes that infrastructure, applications and data management practices need to come together in an integrated fashion to effectively support Business workflows. The Digitalization Support Analyst is accountable for ensuring reliable and secure operations of the in-scope applications, that support one or more business processes and an ITSO interface to the IT Business Interface organization. They ensure IT applications and services remain available, are delivered in a secure manner and perform appropriate oversight on any changes to the landscapes.

Accountabilities

• Accountable for day to day operations (Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management) of the Digitalisation Landscape (Emerging Technology, AI).
• Responsible for fast response and execution of support activities and ensuring minimal operational escalations and minimizing impact to business
• Evergreening and service quality improvements in strong partnership with other Shell IT functional / support.
• Deliver against SLA and in line with support models, and provide full transparency, regular updates and clear communications to all stakeholders
• Execute successful deployments for all services in close partnership with relevant teams.
• Follow established processes for compliance of Shell framework for SOX, information security and regulatory compliance
• Resolve structural issues and seek opportunities to standardize and simplify the applications that you support
• Ensure proper Knowledge Transfer is obtained for all new applications that are onboarded to the Landscape and ensure the application support is stabilized
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Experience and Qualifications required: Mandatory

• Ability to set priorities and work multiple activities concurrently in rapidly changing environment
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results working independently or as part of a team
• Team player who works effectively across the organization and levels of the organization
• Strong technical, problem solving and analytical skills
• Stakeholder Management: understand, work efficiently and communicate effectively within a complex organization with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively and manage relationships with Business stakeholders, peers and subordinates, in a virtual, geographically dispersed and cross-cultural environment

Preferred

• Typical Years of Experience: 4 to 6 years in IT
• Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT
• Job Knowledge – Strong technical skills (Intermediate to Expert) in two or more of the following areas – Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure, AWS, Infrastructure, Shell scripting, C#, Python, Azure/AWS CLI, Restful APIs, administration skills
• Working knowledge of AWS/Azure and deployment tools available in them
• Knowledge of ITSM process desirable
