Sherwin-Williams Hiring for Sr. Officer – Sales and Service at IN_Locations, India Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides fundamental technical direction and assistance to customers regarding the use of product(s). Responsibilities may include responding to common questions and concerns, applying basic application technologies and providing general assistance to customers on improving operational quality and efficiency. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Meet Sales and Revenue Targets

• Consistently drive top-line sales to achieve territory, and area financial goals.
• Increase market share to maximize sales and profits.
• Effectively understand and challenge competitor products and sales.
• Track, monitor, and maintain sales growth on weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
• Achieve sales growth goals through current customers as well as through consistent development of new business.
• Analyze sales and market data to understand where to expand market share.
• Analyze customer credit worthiness and ensure timely collection of the payments.

2. Maintain and develop Dealer Network

• Develop strategic plans to effectively understand the existing dealers and help them achieve agreed business both in terms of Value and Volumes.
• Network with prospective dealers to promote the business and achieve sustainable long term growth.
• Collaborate with contractors and Architects/Interior Designers for business expansion.

3. Prospect and Develop New OEM’s

• Utilize the current available resources to develop plans to effectively understand and meet prospective OEM needs.
• Conduct demonstrations/trials to promote or sell product to new customer.
• Conduct calls/visits to ensure prospective customer understands current and new product.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely service and troubleshooting complaints.

4. Marketing Initiatives

• Build and maintain relationships with customers to gain trust and create positive view of the organization.
• Plan current and future sales strategies to aid in goal achievement.
• Understand current market trend and accordingly drive the sales and marketing efforts.
• Introduce various concepts for market development by visualizing the changing environments to upgrade the image of the products with end users.
• Organize displays and product launches to effectively promote the product among new customers.

5. Internal Coordination

• Partner with Technical Services Representatives to troubleshoot customer complaints and concerns.
• Schedule and plan for meetings with internal departments to understand product composition, features, and functionality (e.g. Marketing, R&D).
• Coordinate customer visits and sales efforts with team members to ensure sales are maximized.
• Closely work with supply chain to deliver quality supply services to customers
• Efficient planning of stock with close coordination with supply chain and be attentive to convey changes in planning to avoid blocking of inventory or creating nonmoving inventory.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 5-8 years of sales experience.
• Technical Services experience is beneficial.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate/Diploma in Paint technology or Bachelor’s degree.

WORK LOCATION:

• Jaipur or Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding of basic sales and related business principles and practices.
• Providing customer service.
• Ability to learn industry specific sales and technical concepts.
• Developing relationships with customers and contacts.
• PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required.
• Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
• Focus on general product level safety.
