Desktop Architect – Share Point Administrator
Location – Gurgaon

SHL is seeking a Desktop Architect with a deep knowledge of SharePoint to join our End User Computing team in Gurgaon.

As a Desktop Architect with accountability for SharePoint, you will develop, guide and implement the SharePoint environments used by SHL’s global workforce. The role also assists current and reviews new end user technologies, develops standard end user environments for use within the corporate network, packages company owned software and automates desktop and service desk tasks to improve service delivery. Key to success is deep technical knowledge alongside that experience to find creative solutions.

Key Accountabilities:
§ Maintain and manage SharePoint

§ Develop strategies to redesign and upgrade the existing SharePoint platform

§ Work with the existing SharePoint architects and assist

§ Evaluate new technologies related to end user computing (Windows, Mac, Linux and Mobile) for use across SHL

§ Develop standard work environments on company owned devices to ensure usability, performance and security requirements are maintained .Automate service desk and desktop support tasks using various scripting languages (VB, PowerShell)

§ Package all SHL owned software for deployment via enterprise distribution tools

§ Evaluate and assess viability of end user technology devices to include new laptops, Macs, mobile devices, and tablets

Required Skills & Experience:
§ Proven experience directing and optimizing SharePoint

§ Experience of installingmigrating SharePoint

§ Proven years of experience administering Office 365

§ Experience with Group Policy and Active Directory
