Roles and Responsibilities of Chief Digital Officer (CDO)
– Define Digital & Data Strategy & Vision for the organization
– Develop and manage Technology Budget & optimize ROI on Technology investments
– Design and implement a scalable and resilient digital & Data infrastructure to support internal business processes
– Ensure seamless integration and interoperability between different systems and applications, minimizing silos and maximizing efficiency.
– Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
– Utilize advanced analytics and predictive modelling techniques to derive actionable insights from internal data, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
– Evaluate and select appropriate digital technologies, platforms, and tools based on organizational needs, budget considerations, and industry best practices
– Manage Vendor Relationships, select right vendors and partners for digital products, services, and solutions.
– Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with vendors to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
– Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
– Collaborate with stakeholders across departments & enable each function in their digital journey
– Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and integration of digital technologies and processes.
Experience :
– Total experience > 18 years with minimum 5+ years in Leadership role in digital transformation initiatives
– Proven experience in a leadership role driving Data & digital transformation initiatives within internal business operations.
– Strong strategic thinking and vision, with the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy from inception to implementation.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
– Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, experimentation, and driving positive hange in a dynamic environment.
