Siemens Energy Hiring For Purchasing coordinator / Expeditor at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

The requirement is for Purchasing coordinator / Expeditor to support Supply Chain Group. Person will be responsible for expediting with suppliers for purchase orders which are already placed on Supply Base. Person will be responsible for interacting with their suppliers to order (as per assigned commodity) and ensure parts are delivered on time to support customer requirements. Person will be responsible to provide updates (e-mail, meeting participation and one on one interaction) to customers. Person will be responsible to work with a cross functional team (SCM Management, Receiving, Quality, Operations and Engineering) to ensure all customer requirements are met. Person will be responsible to identify supplier performance gaps and work with the customer, supplier and SC Management to resolve. Must work in US time Zone i.e 5:30 PM to 1:30 am India time

• Manage supplier delivery performance of 95% or better on-time delivery.
• Daily interaction with suppliers.
• Regular participation in staff meetings.
• Ensure quality in customer PO placement process.
• Communicate/solve bottlenecks or process opportunity areas to SC Management. (Following QCPC process).
• Maintains the integrity of purchasing data on the computer based planning system with error free transactions.
• Evaluates supplier performance using the company supplier rating model, and participates in continuous improvement efforts with suppliers.
• Establish working partnership and good relations with suppliers
• Complete purchasing work aligned with Company Global Purchasing Policy.
• Expediting of parts, systems that are required to build Compressors, after market requirements at Paintet Post manufacturing plant.
• Expediting for OTD or delivery date improvement & engineering for technical documents.
• Maintain expediting master data in Oracle & Vendor rating of suppliers based on Delivery, Quality & Value Improvement.
• Monitor & report supplier’s activities & deliverables in accordance with Purchase orders schedules.
• Processing Invoices, helping suppliers to sort out their queries regarding invoice & promoting invoices to goods receiving department for Processing Goods Receipts.
• Follow up with the supplier for packing slips, Bill of Lading, Tracking Information etc.
• Supporting Olean buyers from India for on time delivery of material.
• Answering queries on delivery of products.
• Prepare detailed status reports for purchasing confirming delivery commitments and advising of any significant potential delinquent items.
• Work with Suppliers & buyers to resolve schedule related problems quickly, economically & effectively.
• Enter dates for daily, weekly, monthly forecasting reports, metrics, meeting agendas, and notes.
• Creating MIS & distribute among SCM team which includes TAT, performance matrix, SLA’s. OTD. Daily transactions Metrics includes ( Total open requisitions/lines by buyer or commodity, past due to promise report, No Promise date report, Aged Requisitions report, Active Requisition not placed report, Reschedule in/out report, cancellation report, Invoice discrepancies by buyer report, Requisition to PO cycle time report, Invoice error caused report, Aged Shippers report).

• Bachelor degree (or in process evidence) or equivalent & related experience, a minimum of 4+ years’ experience within function or industry
• Detailed orientated with the ability to perform meticulous data input with 100% accuracy
• Must work well within cross cultural work environment
• Possess a team player mentality and be able to gain consensus
• Adaptability to fluctuating work load requirements with speed and profanely
• Global sourcing and import and export experience.
• Ability to take ownership, think independently and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proven excellent customer service, written and oral communication and presenting to a variety of audiences in English language.
• Advanced Microsoft office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• Effectively able to participate in or lead teams and collaboration cross-functionally.
• Ability to assess and establish priorities for self and others, demonstrate flexibility and understand/communicate sense of urgency.
• Self motivated, excellent problem solving abilities and proven decision making skills.
• Individual to work in 5pm to 1am shift as per Indian time
