Full Job Description
The employee will be:
Testing NX functionalities around NX modeling and supported areas
The Application Engineer will be responsible for measuring the quality of product before and after integration of project code and bug fixes.
Design Test strategy and Test plan creation along writing end to end workflows
Designing, and writing automated tests
Participating in Requirements, Functional, Design Specification reviews
Participating in customer support and in handling escalations from quality perspective.
Understanding gaps in autotest code coverage and reducing the same by authoring relevant autotests.
Providing technical feedback during discussions around new functionality/technologies.
Participating in different testing activities and QA Support as needed
Required core skills

Required core skills
Candidate with experience in Mechanical Design in the Automotive, machinery, Aerospace industry etc OR with experience in CAD software testing
Overall, 3-5 years of industry work experience with expertise of NX or any other equivalent CAD software
Knowledge/experience of Team center or any other PLM software
Knowledge of CAD/ Software Testing techniques
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with project and software management tools
Required secondary skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work well in a team, including with team members in different time zones
Proactive about solving problems
Experience in writing Python/Perl based tools will be added advantage
Ability to multi-task and work well within time constraints
Capable of independent work as well as collaborative development
Ability to continually improve and learn new areas
A good attitude and must be willing to learn and be challenged
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile or Production Engineering.
