FPSO Operations Reliability Engineer

Job description:

• Provide detailed reliability and life cycle cost analysis for units and projects
• Perform RAM study to the support the bid and design phase, and ensure RAM models are kept up to date during unit life cycle to achieve optimum balance between cost and availability/reliability.
• Support the development of the Reliability Databank based on Fleet and Industry reliability data
• Control quality of the data provided by the fleet and mentor the fleet to ensure failure history are consolidated in the reliability databank.
• Support project team during FPSO risk assessment study to ensure that equipment with the highest availability impact are identified and help evaluating the risk mitigation strategy for high risk areas.
• Support Asset Integrity to collect and analyse data to support efficient asset management.
• Use above studies to advise Maintenance and Supply Chain on stock level control of spares.
• Use above studies to advise Asset Integrity discipline leads on changes to Maintenance Strategy.
• Management of RAM subcontractors including scope of work development, technical / commercial bid evaluation and technical management during works.

Job requirements:

• University Bachelor level degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 5 years’ experience in Reliability Engineering.
• Offshore Oil and gas experience preferred.
• Expertise using RAM simulation software (DNVGL MAROS is preferred)
• Previous experience required of conducting RAM, RCM, FMECA studies.
• Subcontractor Management
