Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Responsible for Security and Fire functions in big industrial set up.

Monitor the theft, road accident and other cases like manhandling, in-subordination, misappropriation and various malpractices adopted by the employees / people, intelligently, taking place in the plant.

Planning and Deployment of ASOs and security personnel in all three shifts.

Training to security personnel regarding security related activities and procedures.

Liaisoning with Police Dept., local bodies and Fire Dept. authorities.

Comply with the company procedure regarding dispatches of finish product, raw material coming in and going out of company premises (huge number).

Plan and execute fire and emergency preparedness plan to tackle any eventuality.

Carry out intelligence activities in the plant to gather the feedback related to various activities going out in and around the factory premises. Should know how to develop personal network system to gather the information.

Communication and Coordination with all departments for requirement of various Electrical, Mechanical & other services required from Security aspect of the plant.

Effective communication with the people down the level and people at higher level.

Guide subordinates on daily issues and get the work done from them effectively.

Coordinate for the work being carried out by the contractor’s workmen / material vehicle driver etc.

Coordinate and monitor with the Service Provider

Technical/ Functional:
Exposure in handling and controlling all above activities in a big industrial set up.

Should have knowledge regardingthe latestindustrial security & fire systems. (e.g CCTV, Access controls etc)

Should have knowledge of LPG, CNG storage systems, latest fire & security protection systems.

Should know the procedures of handling theft, accident cases for coordination with Police dept.

Should have effective communication and presentation skills.

Should have knowledge of safety / legal requirements of the plant.

Exposure of handling planned maintenance activities of Fire Extinguisher, Fire tender, Wireless system etc. used in Security Dept.

Hands on experience of Microsoft office & SAP

Should be acquainted with safety & Security of female employees.

Should have thorough knowledge of Contract Labor Management System
