Responsibilities and Duties
The Sr. UI Developer should have strong experience utilizing the Angular framework to deliver clean, modern, and reliable application code. They will be expected to help drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. MKS Vision needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thoughtful decision making to enhance our services and offerings to our internal and external users.
This position requires an individual with interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, problem-solving expertise, and the ability to learn our software and hardware systems. We require a collaborative individual who is comfortable working on the frontlines of supporting technology in a competitive corporate environment. In addition, candidatesshould have a strong understanding of technology, including the various hardware and software systems being supported.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Develop new user-facing features using latest Angular releases
• Utilize Angular Universal SSR to deliver needed SEO portions of AFF applications
• Use visual designs (XD files) to develop responsive mobile first applications.
• Work with API development teams to map out needed data structures to support current and future technical needs from the frontend.
• Develop applications in a mono repo to leverage reusable assets to increase productivity, and reliability across the AFF application landscape
• Build reliable applications though utilizing tooling to include unit testing with Jest, and e2e testing with Cypress
• Build reusable component libraries.
• Develop PWAs using service workers
• Be part of the collaborative effort in innovating ideas to help insure the best experience for our clients
• Help train and mentor other developers to continue to grow out UI team skill set

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 4-8 years experience using Angular, SPA, CLI commands, data bindings, lazy loading.
• 4-8 years experience working with Dependency injection, templates, validations, linting, model typecasting, state management, and debugging tools.
• 4-8 years experience developing web/mobile applications
• 4-8 years experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular or React
• 4-8 years experience understanding of UI integration with back-end systems via HTTPS/REST/JSON
• 4-8 years experience with design frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic UI or Material UI
• 4-8 years experience with mobile browser development
