Overview of the Role:

As an Admission Counsellor, your primary responsibility will be to guide and assist prospective parents through the admission process to premium educators of Skoolz. You will serve as a point of contact for inquiries, provide information about the educators’ offerings, assess students’ eligibility, and help them navigate the application process. Your goal is to ensure parents a positive and seamless experience in the admission process for their children.

Key Responsibilities:

Parents Counselling:

Reach out to parents interested in school or hobby classes or tuition classes admission to their children.

Respond to inquiries from prospective parents over the phone, via email, or via chat messages. Providedetailed information about Skoolz premium educators (schools, Hobby & Tuition classes) and their admission criteria, programs, curriculum, facilities, and extracurricular activities.

Assess parents’ and students’ interests, aspirations, academic background, and eligibility for admission to schools, hobbies & tuition classes.

Advise parents on appropriate academic pathways, course selections, and potential career opportunities based on their goals and abilities.

Guide the completion of application forms, submission of required documents, and deadlines.

Effectively communicate the advantages of taking admission through the Skoolz platform to prospective parents.

Relationship Building:

Build rapport and establish relationships with prospective parents, ensuring trust and confidence in the admission process and offerings.

Collaborate with other customer staff, including administrators, to gather information and address specific inquiries or concerns of prospective parents.

Conduct an educator’s (school) tour to understand campus facilities and effectively communicate with prospective parents.

Data Management and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective parents and potential educators to which admission is expected.

Prepare reports and analyze data related to admission statistics, trends, and conversion rates to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field.

Previous experience in parent counseling, admissions, or a related role is preferred.

Prior work experience with IB or boarding schools is a big plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with parents

and school or educator staff.

Empathy, patience, and a parent-centered approach to provide personalized guidance

and support.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing application materials

and records.

Familiarity with the admission process and requirements of educational institutions.

Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and standard office software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to student admissions is a plus.
