Job title: Operations Manager

Location: Navi Mumbai

Work Mode: 5 Days

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent and sufficient supply of materials.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to book goods on shipping vessels, and track shipping schedules with carriers to monitor arrival times.
• Generate essential documents such as Bills of Entries, draft BLs, COO certificates, Invoices, and Packing Lists, while comprehending government payback schemes.
• Stay updated on import/export regulations, particularly in Mundra, and adapt to evolving industry dynamics to ensure compliance.
• Devise and execute plans to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure timely and accurate completion of all documentation.
• Proactively manage the clearance and lab testing processes to prevent delays.
• Oversee the entire shipment process and monitor the supply chain activities.
• Provide daily updates to the CEO on deployments and collections, highlighting any potential risks or obstacles that could impact shipping/delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

• Ideally possess a Master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in shipping operations/logistics.
• Ability to adapt and make decisions swiftly in unforeseen circumstances.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to Mundra port or warehousing locations as needed.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
