Maintain and administrate databases with following items: backups/restore,
security, patching, performance monitoring and tuning, and installation of
new Database environments upon request.
Knowledgeable on the principles, practices, and techniques of database and
systems design, of database structures and theories; of current database
technologies.
Coordinate / Collaboration with the local IT on site for software and
hardware implementation/ installation / troubleshooting.
Good English communication skills (Both written and verbal)
Understanding the problem resolution techniques
Follow a service desk process for resolving the issues performing changes
(such as usage of ServiceNow)
Be available out of normal office hours to cover exceptional circumstances –
database failure/error.
Performs database performance monitoring

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university.

➢ Should have worked as Oracle DBA for 2 year supporting an international production environment.
