The Opportunity:

Digit88 is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on Software Engineer with 1-3 years of experience specializing in data integration and loading. You will play an important role in building and maintaining data pipelines to streamline the flow of information across various systems. You will work closely with our experienced engineering team to create seamless integrations and ensure data is accurately loaded into the required databases. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, as you will be exposed to diverse projects and technologies within our agile and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions that facilitate the smooth transfer of data between different systems.
• Write clean and efficient code using TypeScript and Node.js to create and optimize integration scripts and data loading processes.
• Automate frequent ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks and create monitoring tools to ensure successful end to end data transfer between systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data loading issues in a timely manner, ensuring high data accuracy and system reliability.
• Assess data quality and perform checks to identify and address potential data inconsistencies or integration failures.
• Document integration processes, technical specifications, and best practices to ensure clear understanding and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Work with our Developer Framework team to identify gaps in data integration capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JavaScript (Typescript preferred) and Node.js, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and modular code.
• Familiarity with the command line interface (CLI).
• Good command of the English language to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Basic understanding of data structures, databases, and data manipulation techniques.

Additional Project/Soft Skills:

• Product from scratch experience: at least 2 products, should be able to work independently with India & US based team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to articulate problems and solutions over phone and emails.
• Strong sense of urgency, with a passion for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to work calmly in high pressure situations and manage multiple projects/tasks.
• Ability to work independently and possess superior skills in issue resolution.
