Business Development Manager Responsibilities –A Business Development Manager will have these primary responsibilities: 1. Identifying new sales leads2. Pitching products and/or services to the customer/clients.3. Making Quotations and following the customers/clients.4. Helping project manager in executing the project on site.5. Doing site visit to client’s location and noting down the details.6. Creating Single line diagram of solar system, solar panel mounting structure on AutoCAD software or other related software.7. Giving direction to installers and their team for maintaining quality standards.When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include: 1. Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets2. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing3. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings4. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives5. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events for gaining knowledge on latest trends and making business contact.When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:1. Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays2. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products3. Developing quotes and proposals4. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person5. Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met6.
