Position: Data Scientist, Data Transformation
Location: Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad
The Team:
The Data Transformation team is responsible for driving key automation projects, machine learning based solutions and lean initiatives across S&P Global Market Intelligence.
As custodians of the transformation strategy for the Chief Data Office, we are responsible for creating, planning and delivering transformational projects for the company using state of the art technologies and data science methods, developed either in house or in partnership with vendors.
We are transforming the way we are collecting the essential intelligence our clients need to do decision with conviction, delivering it faster and at scale while maintaining the highest quality standards.

In this role you will be developing our next generation of new products while enhancing existing ones aiming at solving high-impact business problems.

Key Responsibilities
Actively contribute to the design, development, and deployment of automation projects.
Build strong internal and external relationships and ensures service quality and customer satisfaction.
Stay up to date on the latest technology and machine learning trend that can be applied to our projects.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelors/Masters (preferred) degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines
Advanced knowledge of machine learning and statistics and familiarity with at least one deep learning framework, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Hands on experience in development of complex software systems/machine learning applications
Proficiency in Python
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in quantitative, Data Science or other advanced data and predictive analytics role
4+ years of programming experience
Demonstrable skills (personal projects, Kaggle notebook/medals, GitHub repos)
Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing and build processes
Knowledge and experience of working with AWS, Docker and Databricks
Excellent communication skills in English
Certificates and demonstrable track of continuous self-learning is highly valued
