The Role : Lead Software Developer

Grade : 11

The Location: Hyderabad, Gurgaon

The Team:

The resource would be a part of the Content Creation and Packaging Platform – Content Platform technology team. He/She would be a part of the existing team that is launching a new internal facing packaging and layout service and its integration with other enterprise systems and applications. Working very closely with the Product owner, this team is responsible to make major and minor enhancements. This role will join a delivery focused team who has a proven track record of providing major contributions to Platts content platforms ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, implementation, and support of solutions for managing editorial content. Skills required include Java, Javascript, CSS / HTML, AJAX, XML / XSLT, SQL, Oracle and NoSQL.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications

• 3-4 years’ experience with content management systems and processes, with experience in an agile team development role, delivering software solutions.

• Ability to write, understand and validate user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Java, J2EE, Javascript, CSS / HTML, AJAX

• React.js/Angular, Springboot, RESTful services, OAuth

• SQL and NoSQL Databases (Oracle essential)

• Messaging / queuing solutions (JMS, Kafka, etc.)

• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (API Gateway, Lambda Functions, etc.)

• XML, JSON, XSLT transformation

• Experience with source code management tools, build management tools and continuous integration (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)

• Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is able to work to achieve objectives with minimum direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Analysis of business information patterns, data analysis and data modeling.

• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team

• Working with user experience designers to deliver end-user focused benefits realization.

• Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS Fargate)

• Familiar with application security development/operations best practices (including static/dynamic code analysis tools)

• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign (including InDesign Server, InDesign scripting).
