Role: Senior Finance Analyst
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance professional to join our Global team. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our balance sheet reconciliations and overall cost management / budgetary control process. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will be essential in reviewing and interrogating balance sheet performance / cost management providing insight and support to the Global team(s).
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Provide support to the Global teams to prepare and review purchase order requisitions for both ad-hoc spend and annual payroll vendor costs.
Provide support to the Global teams in the period review and monitoring annual purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Monitor and assist with the reporting of actual spending for the department, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Support in the provision of spend oversight, budget versus actual spend.
Assist in the preparation of period reporting / budget compliance.
Assist in the review and control of open commitments and purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Provide period reporting to the global team on commitment reporting and identify potential cost challenges / forecasting.
Provide support and insights to the Global teams, offering recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with the payroll teams and controllership to help resolve historic items.
Identify and recommend opportunities for automation using current and upcoming technologies i.e. AI.
You’ll be asked to work from the office 2 days a week.
This is EMEA shift work.
Requirements:
3+ years experience in accounting role.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations and financial concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
