Role: Team Leader II (A
The Team: Translations
Translations department is part of the Documents & Translations domain on Market Intelligence division at S&P Global. It’s responsible for delivering accurate and timely translated content to internal financial and non-financial data collection teams within the division.
It supports translation requirements for other divisions as well.
You will gain exposure to different and latest translation tools being used, frequent interactions with global teams will help understand the industry dynamics, cultural diversity and create a symbiotic work culture.
The Impact:
This role will involve working with the team and the manager on a variety of initiatives related to Ownership operations.
Opportunity to be a part of a large and growing Translations operations with over 400 employees across 5 operating sites, that uses state-of-the-art translation processes and tools to deliver on the needs of internal customers not just within the division but across organization.
Wide exposure to multiple data collection processes with a dependency on translation services within S&P Global.
Opportunity to work with diverse and multicultural teams working out of Ahmedabad Hyderabad, Manila and Buenos Aires offices, to achieve a common set of goals.
Opportunity to lead the team consisting of 15 to 18 individual contributors and contribute towards achieving the goals of team. Accountability would be towards understanding and owning the business objectives; be a role model for people and peer group; communicate with passion and enthusiasm, embrace change as a way of working; and lead by example when communicating new initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead team of 15 to 18 associates and 1 to 2 Team Leaders.
Manages a team in the process of data extraction of information from various sources, tools and documents.
Ensure team members are compliant when conducting data/information collection through thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies and research tools.
Responsible for the day-to-day workflow management and performance of a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency of process workflows.
Manages the performance review process, talent development and talent management processes of the team.
May interact with internal and external clients as necessary and occasionally works on new projects and data enhancement initiatives as assigned.
Identify individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst the team.
Ensure clear and seamless communication across levels and teams.

Requires working in rotation/night shifts on a need basis.
Eligibility Criteria:
Team Leader (criteria for Data Researcher III to Senior Data Researcher II to apply)
Data Researcher III to Senior Data Researcher I can apply only if employee completes 12 months in present designation & division.
Team Leader (criteria for TL’s to apply): –
Team Leaders can also apply for Team Leader positions to other divisions provided employee meets the following criteria.
Existing Team Leaders are eligible to apply through Internal Mobility if employee complete 12 months of service in that position.
Preferred Qualifications:
PG degree in commerce or business administration/management.
Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
