Space Technology & Education Pvt Ltd Looking For Tourism Manager at Delhi, Delhi, Full Time

• All executions related to travel operations – itineraries, bookings, negotiations, etc.
• Plans and directs the operations meanwhile coordinating with other company departments
• Curate exciting astronomy and adventure travel in the form of EduTours and FITs itineraries
• Management of travel agent networks for both AstroTourism and Astroport
• Licensing and registration with Government/Non- Government bodies like IRCTC tourism & Ministry of Tourism, etc
• Managing correspondence and customer relations at the backend
• Managing the marketing and promotion of tourism services offered by the organization
• Review incoming reservations to ensure that they meet company standards and requirements
• Establishing relationships with travel suppliers such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, car rental agencies, etc.
• Monitors expenses, schedules/supervises the team
• Training and development of the team
• Manage all contracting of domestic & international with vendors
• Procurement of ticketing modules
• Managing and taking care of travel associations and memberships
• Identify, determine, and achieve regulations & registration for regulatory compliance
• Establishing and ensuring complete contracting and legal requirements
• Manage travel insurance and other related matters of travelers
• Management of backend technology platforms
• Maintaining knowledge about current trends in industry practices, laws, regulations, and technology in order to ensure compliance with standards
• Implementing new, alternative, and innovative ideas for achieving new business and recurring clients
• Sourcing products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel
• Dealing with sales inquiries by Phone, Email, Face to Face, etc.
• Any incidental work whether specifically mentioned or not
• Demonstrating/presenting products to the clients and aware them of the services provided
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales and negotiating on price, costs, delivery, and specifications with vendors & Clients
• Work with the Government for socio-economic developments via AstroTourism
• Communicate all costing and itinerary touch points through the company process to concerned departments such as Education, Academic support, Operations, Accounts, etc
• Hand over the required documents to concerned departments for implementation and recordkeeping
• Actively involved in smooth vendor and internal team coordination while groups are on the road/travel

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Operations in the Travel Industry.
• Knowledge of Astronomy & Space Science
• Good Communication Skills
• Strong negotiation skills for B2B rate
• Experience in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibition (MICE)
