# Role and Responsibilities

• Design and integrate steering and suspension systems meeting the QCD requirements of project.
• Domain expertise in three-wheeler commercial logistics vehicles steering and suspension systems with focus on Ackerman steering and double wishbone & swing-arm mounted suspension.
• Experience in system selection, design, and calculations involved for part design & system design.
• Good understanding of current and forthcoming regulations, IS & ECE standards.
• Sufficient knowledge of benchmark vehicles for steering and suspension system.
• Able to conduct and prepare DFMEA, DFM, DFA for the parts.
• Should generate various weight and cost reduction ideas and implement them.
• Should be able to understand and use basic FEA, CFD, MBD tools effectively to improve the designs.
• Sufficient knowledge of GD and T.
• Prepare and release drawings that meets Quality standards.
• Manage precise model versioning and alignment with VI, enabling speed and efficiency in design iterations.
• Provide input in the creation of component specification, component DFMEA, and other technical design documents where analysis plays a pivotal role.
• Perform analysis for feasibility for manufacturing, assembly, and service processes.
• Good knowledge of part development with supplier.
• Work on patents / copyrights for the company.
• Should generate various weight and cost reduction ideas and implement them.

# Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Automobile engineering.
• Very good software knowledge on CATIA/ Autodesk Suite.
• 4-7 years’ experience in steering and suspension engineering in automobile industry preferrable in IATF 16949 standard.
• Experience in university level BAJA/ Supra or similar competition is preferred
