Role and Responsibilities 

1. Responsible for New Product Development, manufacturing feasibility, and Implementation of ECN

1. Responsible for Rubber, Plastic, FRP & oil commodity

1. Check, finalize DAP & take tool trials & resolve any NC observed

1. Responsible for all types of System-related Activities Such as PO, PR, Item code, QCS, Capex, Etc.

1. Capacity Creation Compliance like supplier agreements, NDAs

1. Develop standard operating procedures and guidelines for various areas of operation Injection molding and SMC

1. Manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and reduce manpower and cycle time

1. Responsible for purchase Process-Supplier scouting, evaluation, Selection, SOR, RFQ, Price Negotiation, Part Development & Technical Sign-off with suppliers etc.

1. Finalize the process sequence of the new Parts through Various processes

1. Develop part & process and prove the process by JIG/ Fixture adjustment

1. Develop and trace new methods of the process so that continuous improvement (KAIZEN) of processes is maintained and reduces manufacturing costs

1. Do POKE-YOKE in welded and machining assemblies and stamping parts to avoid reverse fitment

1. Assist in developing and putting into practice a supply chain solution

1. Analyses route schedules or load plans, historical activity, and customer trends to make suggestions for enhancing routing efficiency and solution efficacy

1. Take care of the recurring analysis and duties generating ongoing cost-saving measures

1. Follow PPAP process for bought out/ developed parts until handed over to procurement

1. Collect APQP from customer development suppliers

1. Assist Supplier Quality Team in supplier evaluation and coordination

1. Assess supply chain for risks and propose mitigation actions

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

1. BE Mechanical Engineering/ BE Polymer Engineering / BE Plastic Engineering

1. Experience of 3-5 years in the automotive industry

1. knowledge of PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, PMP

1. Product Development, Program Management, VAVE, GD & T, Line Balancing, Value Mapping, Technical Feasibility

Salary: ₹400,000.00 – ₹600,000.00 per year
