Job Description

Designation- Draftsman Cum Site Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities-

• Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
• Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
• Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers, and structural and maintenance engineers.
• Entering CAD data into building information modelling (BIM) systems to create 3-D models and renderings.
• Examining and noting any errors in the technical designs.
• Preparing manuals describing product features, operations, and maintenance
• Analyze and interpret engineering plans, aerial photography, blueprints, topographical & geologic data and technical drawings to plan and execute construction activities.
• Planning and overseeing allocating resources, materials and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standards.
• Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards.
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.
• Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes.

Desired Skills-

In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design

Proficient in the use of computer aided design (CAD) software

Familiar with scientific analysis software as well as graphics and map creation software.

In-depth knowledge of building design, specifications, codes, and structural analysis.

Ability to apply the fundamentals of sketching and design.

Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.

Proven track record for managing personnel and material resources

Strong time management and project management skills

Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.

Great written and verbal communication skills.

A willingness to learn.

Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations

Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Education- An associate’s degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar

Experience- 1-2 years of experience in relevant field

Prior experience as an architectural draftsperson will be advantageous.

Timings – 10 AM – 6:30 PM

Salary – CTC-?15,000.00 per month
