About the Position:

• TI department at 91springboard broadly has three teams – Technical Support, Administration and Networking. Network Executive forms part of the Technical support team and takes care of setup, support and maintenance of Internet and related infrastructure, ensuring 24×7 smooth functioning internet experience across the co-working centers or what we call our “Hubs”

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide Level 2 support to the hub team members
• Provide prompt response over technical support desk system for requests, incidents, and queries
• Single point of contact for all the Internet related solutions for the hubs
• Continuously train the hub team members to provide Level 1 IT support and troubleshooting best practices.
• Predict, identify, and analyze the IT related issues/queries, and to be resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Networking team to implement new solutions and resolve ongoing escalated problems.
• Constant monitoring and maintenance of Internet and infrastructure to achieve 24×7 uptime.
• Deploy Internet infrastructure at offices
• Establishing the networking environment as per configuration and directing network installation and documenting and enforcing network standards
• The design and implementation of new solutions and improving the resilience of the current environment
• Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide-area environments, using information from multiple sources
• Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
• The support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
• Reporting network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects
• Upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
• The configuration of routing and switching equipment
• The configuration of access points and configuration of SSID’s and policies on WLC
• The basic configuration of the firewall
• Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation
• Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
• Liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
• Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

• Manage new IT projects and new customization project of existing member.
• Information gathering from 91S teams and members – via Calls, emails etc.
• Provide technical clarifications to internal teams and members.
• Coordination with internal and external sales teams for customization initiation, planning and execution of project.
• Build solutioning and provide costing and timelines for the project.
• Ensure project is completed on time and budget.
• Coordinate with internal TI team and vendors to complete the customization project.

Good-to-haves:

• Basic Linux administration skills and good understanding of wireless architecture
• Create documentation for the organization to ensure high standards of quality
• Independently/proactively think of lean techniques to improve our tech infrastructure (we promise this type of intrapreneurship is entertained)

Skills and Behavior required:

• Strong Networking Knowledge (we allow your actions to speak louder than certificates)
• Strong communication skills (proactive, patient and clear) i.e. ability to effectively communicate, through both verbal and written means, to technical as well as non-technical end-users
• Hands on extensive experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 equipment, wired and wireless (knowledge of Ruckus wireless, Mikrotik and Linux will be a big plus)
• Well-organized and takes ownership of tasks in a fast-paced live environment
• Ability to work at late hours and independently, as, and when required
