Job Description:
The Temple Priests are responsible for doing poojas, chanting mantras, abhishegam, alangaram, homam according to the strict Hindu agamas (rules) and the Priests are the only qualified persons to enter into the main shrine where venkateshwara is installed. The Temple Priests are responsible for the abhishekam (bathing deities), alangaram (decorating deities) archanai (chanting mantras) and pooja (worship). Priests are responsible for preachings Veda and Hindu faith to the adults and children from Hindu families to enrich their knowledge about their Hindu faith.
