Stardawn IT Hiring for Senior Systems Administrator at Mohali, Punjab Full Time

StarDawn IT LLP is a growing IT company based in Mohali, specializing in outsourced support services. We are urgently looking for a dedicated and experienced System Administrator to work the night shift, catering to one of our premium U.S.-based MSP clients. This is a fully remote, work-from-home opportunity.

Position Overview

• Title: System Administrator (India Night Shift)
• Location: Fully Remote (Mohali-based company)
• Shift: Night Shift in India Time Zone (Specific hours to be discussed)
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in System Administration
• Language: Fluent in English
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and manage various operating systems and applications during India night-time hours.
• Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS services.
• Able to call endusers.
• Able to handle level 1, level 2 tickets.
• Able to solve outlook, common helpdesk issues.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
• Coordinate software and hardware installations, updates, and patches.
• Maintain network configurations, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard information against unauthorized access and system failures.
• Perform system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Develop documentation and guidelines for configurations and best practices.
• Perform backups, system restores, and disaster recovery operations.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
• Escalate issues to higher-tier support and management as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in System Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Willingness to work the night shift aligned with India time zone.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure is a plus.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, particularly through Voice call.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with IT security protocols and best practices.
