Software Engineer – .NET Developer I – Write and maintain existing code in a .NET core environment interfcing with a SQL database

• Write new code and maintain existing code

• Ensure approved software development practices and methodologies are being followed.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, including Story Pointing, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Sprint

• Retrospectives to understand the breadth of product development occurring across teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field experience preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

• C#, .Net Core.

• Experience with relational database development using SQL

• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, JavaScript)

• Experience with Web APIs

• REST / SOAP concepts

• Familiarity with distributed systems using Microservice architecture (event-based) along with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming is preferred.

• Strong knowledge and expertise in design patterns and proven experience in execution and delivery using these patterns.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Strong customer orientation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment (i.e., WFH) when necessary is a must.

• Working knowledge in GIT and CI/ CD pipelines.
