Job Summary

This position is a technical lead position and will be responsible for ensuring security of the IT architecture including infrastructure, network, cloud and application architectures.

Areas of Responsibility

• Design and implement secure architectures ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services
• Work closely with the development team to integrate security controls into the design and development of solutions
• Review application architectures for security vulnerabilities and threat modelling
• Lead and drive integration and implementation of new security tools and platforms
• Addressing solution on LAN, WAN, Data Networking, Voice & VOIP.
• Addressing Network Technology & solutions to Government, Banking, Manufacturing & other verticals
• Experience with web application security (OWASP, XSS, SQLi, Top 10) and authentication protocols like OAuth, SAML, LDAP, AD.
• Expertise in data protection mechanisms including an understanding of cryptographic algorithms such as AES, 3DES, RSA, ECC, SHA etc.
• Plan and strategize proactive measures to fortify network security against potential cyber threats.
• Provide guidance and support to developers, data scientist and other team members on security best practice and secure coding practices
• Articulate near term and long-term architecture, complemented by an implementable roadmap
• Continuously innovate and adapt defense strategies to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats and protect critical assets effectively.
• Performs research into emerging threat sources and develops threat profiles. Keep updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, attack techniques, procedures, and trends.
