JOB DESCRIPTION

The R&D Process Excellence Team is responsible for

• Improvement of R&D (Baroda, Gurgaon, and Ohm) efficiency and strategic projects implementation

• Life Cycle Management Projects for Sun Pharma across US, EM, IN, & EU markets in Formulation & API. The team works for

• Project Introduction – Opportunity Identification, Evaluation, Plan & Business Case Creation, Presentation to Management for Approval,

• Project Portfolio Management – Monitoring project progress, Resolution/Escalation of critical issues, MIS preparation, Monitoring of market dynamics

• Evaluations of Accruals of the projects

• Special Projects in R&D – Rewards & Recognition Systems (Stars of R&D)

• Harmonization of practices across R&D and plants

• R&D Budgets management with finance

Job Profile:

The position is for Strategic projects and Process Excellence . The person will be expected to work on Process Excellence role under supervision of reporting manager.

He/ She will work for

• Evaluation of Digital and AI&ML technologies for the product development phase.

• Analyse processes end to end and drive process diagnostics using Lean methodologies to identify process improvement opportunities. Work closely with internal & and external stakeholders to drive projects to completion on time.

• Collaborate with the Product Development team to assess the risk, stability, and capability using digital tools to develop a product.

• Identify process automation opportunities in R&D and manufacturing sites. Designing automation roadmap by Process Automation to increase efficiency

• Identify cost improvement opportunities in existing products and present them in monthly meetings with Management, initiate CIP, and drive them till the validation phase.

• Identify the opportunities to apply cutting-edge technologies in product development to enable smooth scale-up aligned with the vision of RFT above 95%.

• Manpower assessment and productivity assessment through setting up KPI and measuring them.

• Design and establish a matrix for Reward and recognition

• Project investment review and control for the R&D center
