Job Summary
Handling HR Business Partner role for various R&D functions like Formulations R&D Orals & Packaging Development, Analytical Development, MACR & PVG and NPQC along with ODR-India with 600+ employee base spread across R&D locations in Gurugram, Mumbai and plant locations across India.
Areas Of Responsibility
Responsible for managing the end to end employee life cycle as HR Business Partner for various R&D functions (Formulations R&D Orals & Packaging Development, Analytical Development, MACR & PVG and NPQC) and ODR-India. Effectively partnering with business leadership to extend necessary support to assigned functions.
Talent Acquisition For assigned functions, managing MPR for replacement/ new positions in discussion with hiring managers, providing requisite support to the Location Talent Acquisition Lead in maintaining TAT and Recruitment cost, and ensure fitment in the organization. Level and compensation fitment to be validated basis our internal parity and market benchmark.
Performance Management – Ensuring timely closure of Goal Setting exercise, Mid-Year & Annual Appraisals for employees and supporting leaders in completion of Salary Review process including promotion recommendation process within defined timelines and adherence to Rewards guidelines. The incumbent will also be responsible for conducting the Employee Promotion Process in coordination with the HR counterpart. In addition to this, he/she would be responsible for supporting CoE in running any other PMS initiate for assigned functions.
Induction & Onboarding Accountable for new joiners experience and day-1 productivity. Enhance new joiner experience and ease of settling in throughFGDs with new joiners, process improvement in department induction, strengthening employee buddy program and maintaining TATs for readiness for new joinees.
Functional LNOD Responsible for all Technical LNOD at site, including but not limited to Knowledge sharing sessions called PEDAL series conducted regularly to increase cross functional insights & technical know-how amongst employees. Lab visits, technical quizzes and other initiatives can also be incorporated within this Technical LNOD area. In addition to this, incumbent will be responsible for any higher study or PhD programs that the organization is willing to fund for the employees. Being the functional LNOD spoc, incumbent will be responsible for annual TNI analysis basis IDPs of employees, and implementation of action points, basis discussion with functional heads.
Talent Management – Support CoE initiatives in Talent Management, Succession Planning and Job rotation, along with additional relevant initiatives run for assigned functions.
Rewards and Recognition Incumbent will be responsible for Rewards and Recognition for the entire R&D Gurgaon site (all R&D functions). This includes regular upkeep of existing recognition initiatives like Spotlight Awards, Value Creator Awards etc. and technology platform like Advantage Club, improving adoption and getting maximum value out of the initiatives. In additional to this the incumbent is expected to build a culture of appreciation within the R&D II employees & leaders through innovative drives and celebrations.
Employee Engagement – Organizing fun at work activities to make the work place more vibrant and ensure employee engagement. Enhancing employee connect by regularone-on-one meeting and FGDs with employees. Implementation of Engagement Calendar for every function and regularly organizing functional town halls/ monthly meetings, skip level meetings, round tables to create a stronger culture of engagement & motivation. Incumbent will also be running employee engagement surveys or cascading similar central initiative. Celebration of various cultural festivals throughout the year, working with respective employee committees to organize Cultural, Sports and CSR events and initiatives, and conduction employee wellness initiatives are also included in Employee Engagement.
Exit Management – Regular Exit Interview and Attrition Analysis done to identify function wise reasons for exit and accordingly take action to minimize regrettable loss and maintain targeted attrition %.
HR Budgeting & Departmental Manpower Budgeting Providing inputs for Annual budgeting exercise for Recruitment, Learning & Development and Reward & Recognition and maintaining an account of all changes in department headcounts throughout the year and provide support to the department in managing manpower.
