JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fix appointments for the various tests in consultation with the Radiologist.
• Receive patients, records their names, addresses type of radiology, the number and size of the films and total amount in the reception register.
• Prepare billing and ensure that payments are made by verifying the receipts.
• Attend to any phone calls.
• Inform the patient about the preparation for the various tests.
• Keep reports of Radiology as and when required.
• Dispatch typed reports to report collection. Do the needful in case of emergencies.
• Direct visitors as and when required.
• C0-ordinate with the receptionists in the other floors for dissemination of information.
• Inform the Doctors, radiologists and housekeeping staff early in the morning about the patient cases for the day.
• Prepare a test wise break-up of the tests done during the day and submit the same to accounts dept. The following day.
• Direct the housekeeping staff as and when required.
• Curb the anxiety of the patients. Assist them with any information desired by them.
• Maintain order in the reception area.
• And any other jobs assigned by the superiors as per exigencies of work.
