Company Overview:
SuperSpring Ventures, is working with a renowned global brand for their India launch. We will be launching Watches, Pens and such related accessories, very soon. To manage these products efficiently, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Merchandiser to join our team. The Merchandiser will play a crucial role in driving our brand’s success by effectively managing relationships with marketplaces, trade partners, distributors, corporates, and direct consumers.

Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis and Planning:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitors’ activities.

Develop comprehensive merchandise plans aligned with company objectives and market insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product assortments and pricing strategies.

2. Partner Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with various e-commerce marketplaces, B2B trade partners, and distributors.

Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and promotional opportunities to maximize brand visibility and sales.

Coordinate with partners to ensure accurate product listings, availability, and timely order fulfillment.

3. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, inventory, and profitability.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize sales and merchandising strategies.

4. Buy Planning and Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the planning and procurement teams to create buy plans and ensure optimal inventory levels.

Monitor inventory turnover and implement strategies to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and efficient order management.

5. Business Monitoring and Improvement:
Monitor market dynamics and consumer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Implement proactive measures to address challenges, improve brand perception, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in merchandising practices.

6. Business Coordination

Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth product deliveries to various marketplaces, distributors, and B2B partners.

Monitor the shipping and delivery process to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.

Handle customer complaints and returns management, addressing issues promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Work closely with customer service representatives to resolve queries, concerns, and escalations related to product deliveries and returns.

Implement efficient returns management processes, including product inspections, replacements, and refunds.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising with a leading brand in India.

In-depth knowledge of the Indian market landscape, consumer behavior, and industry trends.

Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with e-commerce platforms, trade partners, and distributors.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, G-Suite, Shopify, and familiarity with merchandising software and tools.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
