Supercraft is looking for a Junior Production Manager

Location – Delhi / NCR

We are looking for a Junior Production Manager to join our team. We are a first-of-its-kind platform making it simple for writers to integrate online and offline publishing. Join our close-knit team and be part of a growing global platform. You should have at least six months of experience in working with the printing and packaging industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

This is a full-time role. These will be your primary responsibilities:

• Production planning and scheduling – overseeing the production process
• Negotiating with vendors on printing prices; ensuring that the production is cost effective
• Maintaining Profit & Loss costing of all books
• Making sure that product is produced on time and is of good quality
• Estimating costs and setting quality standards
• Liaising among different departments, associates, vendors and, if need be, with authors
• Working with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
• Maintaining weekly despatch schedules and monitoring timely despatch of every consignment

Qualifications

An understanding of and experience in book printing is mandatory. English language proficiency is a must.

• Candidate should have at least a year of experience in printing and packaging industry
• Knowledge of book sizes, margins, lamination and foiling is required
• Ability to communicate well with authors, typesetters and printers
• Degree or Diploma in Printing Technology
• Knowledge of MS Excel is a must

Salary: ₹12,787.97 – ₹28,522.73 per month
