Surta Management Solution Hiring for Head- Electrical Engineer (Maintenance) at Bokāro Full Time

Exp- 18+ years (Should have worked in steel plant and must have 18+yrs exp in steel plant maintenance)

Roles and Responsibilities-

• The incumbent responsible for Electrical Maintenance activities will look after practices across all the plants- RMHS, Coke Oven, Sinter, Blast Furnace, Power Plant, Oxygen Plant, SMS, Mills, Lime & Dolo.
• To drive a robust and long-term reliability – centred maintenance strategy & establish state of the art maintenance system and practices at minimum cost to support the Organization to improve shutdown, breakdown, spare planning, & assembly, machine utilization, plant compliance.
• The role-holder will be responsible for common services such as Cranes, Utilities, Engineering Shop, Hydraulics, Railways etc required to support operations.
• Regular monitoring of the overall health of plant and equipment both in terms of availability and performance.
• To ensure that the maintenance team works in coordination with the operations to make sure that their requirements are fulfilled, and the target production is achieved in a timely manner.
• To incorporate a system governing predictive and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and take timely precautions.
• Planning and implementation of the most appropriate engineering design for reliability improvement and maximization of equipment and plant utilization.

The incumbent must have-

• Knowledge of the processes and equipment required to operate a Steel plant.
• Spare & maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of rotating as well as non-rotating equipment.
• Sound understanding of equipment life cycle.
• Knowledge of CBM system and driving BE/AO initiatives practices across plants.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹2,500,000.00 – ₹4,000,000.00 per year
