Swaniti Global Looking For Project Officer – Health at Sahibganj, Jharkhand, Full Time

Swaniti Initiative aims to strengthen public service delivery by working with state and local governments across South Asia, the United States, and East Asia with a strong focus on India. Our interventions have included strengthening scheme implementation of sustainable programs by identifying current gaps and limitations, providing research support to Honorable Members of Parliament about best practices in moving forward on issues of social inclusion and growth, and developing data-technology tools that can back decision-making processes. Swaniti works on a sub-national and local level to ensure last-mile delivery of programs and works with a network of leaders to enable the same.

About The Role

Project Officer – Health will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring health-related projects in collaboration with the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMF) and Swaniti Initiative. The role involves working closely with government officials, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders to improve healthcare access and outcomes in mining-affected areas of Jharkhand.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Implementation:
• Coordinate the execution of health-related projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Oversee the implementation of healthcare interventions, including infrastructure development, capacity building, and service delivery initiatives

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, healthcare providers, NGOs, and community leaders.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations to gather input and ensure project buy-in.
• Collaborate with local communities to identify healthcare needs and design culturally appropriate interventions.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Conduct regular site visits and assessments to monitor the quality and effectiveness of health interventions.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of projects and identify areas for improvement.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of project activities and outcomes.
• Prepare timely progress reports, success stories, and case studies for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and contribute to donor reporting as needed

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Post-graduate degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Candidates having masters from Tier 1 institutions are preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the development sector.
• Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, and community-based organizations.
• At least 1 year of experience working in project managing positions.

Salary Range
