Job Summary: As the Human Resources US Immigration Specialist at Concord, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of US immigration processes. Your role will involve collaborating with HR, legal, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with US immigration laws and regulations, while also assisting foreign nationals with their immigration needs. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about immigration policies, procedures, and will be able to provide expert guidance on immigration matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Immigration Compliance: Ensure the organization’s adherence to all US immigration laws and regulations, including the timely filing of all necessary documentation.
• Visa Processing: Manage the full lifecycle of visa applications, including H-1B, L-1, TN, and other non-immigrant visas.
• Green Card Processing: Assist eligible employees with the employment-based green card process, including PERM labor certification and I-140 petitions.
• I-9 Compliance: Oversee the I-9 verification process and maintain accurate records.
• Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to foreign national employees regarding immigration matters, including visa renewals, extensions, and change of status.
• Policy Development: Develop and update immigration policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current laws and regulations.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to immigration matters.
• Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops for HR and employees on immigration-related topics.
• Compliance Audits: Regularly audit immigration records and processes to identify and rectify any compliance issues.
• External Liaison: Collaborate with external immigration attorneys and government agencies as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a US Immigration Specialist or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of US immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of various non-immigrant and immigrant visa categories.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex immigration concepts clearly and concisely.
• Proficient in immigration case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Certification from a recognized immigration institution is a plus.
