Roles & Responsibilities

The Manager/SM for Operations will run, own, and manage the pod and fleet operations for the business. This will include delivery, store, and parts of customer experience

• Run daily pod operations : order processing optimizations, manpower management, inwarding optimizations, etc
• Run, track, report, ad RCA stock status
• Set stringent processes to reduce wastage and pilferage
• Improve store manpower efficiency and order fill rates
• Be the guardian of Quality to ensure CX and build trust with consumers
• Create a replicable playbook with all the best practices on the operations front
• Run delivery operations for the business on a day-to-day level; forge 3PL partnerships to enable bulk deliveries and optimize cost of delivery simultaneously
• Lead day to day operations, deliver on operational plans against the strategic vision for the company and being the face of Swiggy in that community

Desired Skills

• Exp with 5-6+ years of overall experience, with the subject matter expertise of operations in retail
• Demonstrating a knack for both process-oriented and agile thinking to set up the business’s operations with industry best practices as well as out of the box approaches
• Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems with a healthy combination of inductive and deductive thinking
• Be obsessed with efficiency at all levels from upstream to downstream
• To be a self-motivated go-getter who ‘never settles’ and demonstrates a solution-oriented approach in every single thing
• Great at strategy as well as execution : This is a 0-1 journey and both are a must
• Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
• Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Not waiting for instructions, but showing end to end ownership with founder mindset
